Lisa Morrison
Massage Therapist
Lisa has completed a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy, a Diploma of Remedial Massage and is an accredited with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).
Lisa is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist with a strong background in health, sport, and community care. She holds a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and a Diploma of Remedial Massage, both completed at TAFE NSW Randwick campus, and is accredited with the Australian Traditional-Medicine Society (ATMS).
Lisa-Maree brings a patient-centred approach to care, shaped by more than six years of experience working as a personal carer, a role she continues alongside her clinical practice. This experience has provided her with a deep understanding of individual needs across a wide range of ages and presentations, including older adults, athletes, children, and individuals seeking recovery support or dedicated time for self-care.
Her interest in movement and sport began early through gymnastics and later developed through long-term involvement in netball as a player, coach, and umpire. She has umpired since the age of twelve and currently holds a Netball Australia National C Umpire Badge, with additional experience coaching junior teams and mentoring developing umpires. This longstanding involvement in sport supports her practical understanding of physical demands, recovery, and performance support.
Lisa-Maree also holds a Bachelor of Health Science (PDHPE) from Western Sydney University, as well as Certificates III and IV in Fitness. Earlier in her career, she worked as a swim instructor for four years, developing strong skills in communication, instruction, and safe movement education.
At Spinal and Sports Care, Lisa-Maree works as part of the multidisciplinary allied health team, providing high-quality remedial massage to support injury recovery, performance optimisation, and long-term physical wellbeing, while collaborating closely with practitioners to deliver integrated, patient-focused care.
