Who we Treat
Infants & Toddlers
At Spinal & Sports Care, our long history has allowed us to care for entire generations of families. Patients who once visited us as children have now grown into adults, many returning with families of their own. As their families have grown, so too has our role in caring for infants and toddlers, ensuring that the youngest members of our community receive expert and compassionate care during the earliest stages of development.
We regularly see children progress from newborns to active toddlers, supporting families through the many physical changes that occur during these years. Our clinicians have specialised training in paediatric musculoskeletal health and receive referrals from paediatricians to assist with the assessment and management of conditions such as torticollis (tight neck muscles), hip dysplasia, pigeon-toed walking (in-toeing), tip-toe walking, and other concerns involving posture, balance, and physical deve…
Our approach is always gentle, evidence-based, and child-centred. We understand that the early years are critical for motor development, coordination, and movement patterns that carry into later childhood and beyond. We use safe, age-appropriate physiotherapy and chiropractic techniques designed specifically for infants and toddlers to address concerns while prioritising comfort and safety.
Equally important, we work closely with parents throughout the entire process. Families are educated about their child’s condition, involved in treatment planning, and given practical strategies to support physical development at home. This partnership ensures that children not only receive professional care in the clinic but also benefit from consistent guidance between appointments.
Our clinics provide a friendly, welcoming environment that helps children feel comfortable and at ease. Whether it is a parent worried about their toddler walking on their toes, uneven gait, or recovering from bumps and falls, our goal is to provide reassurance, expert assessment, and clear management plans that support healthy growth and development from the very beginning.
