Who we Treat
Sports People in General
At Spinal & Sports Care, sport is part of who we are. For more than 35 years, we have managed athletes of every age, background, and level of competition, from grassroots participants to national representatives. Many of our sports practitioners are athletes themselves. This gives them a personal understanding of the physical demands, mental resilience, and performance expectations that come with training and competition.
Our clinic draws on experience gained through working with elite athletes and professional sporting organisations across multiple codes. We apply the same high-performance principles, evidence-based treatment protocols, and injury prevention strategies used at the top level to every patient. Whether it is the weekend netballer, the elderly golfer staying active, or the social footballer returning from injury, each person receives the same commitment to care, performance, and long-term health.
We believe strongly in the physical, mental, and social benefits of sport and fitness. Our aim is not only to treat injuries but also to educate patients about their bodies. We help them understand how biomechanics, strength, mobility, and movement patterns influence performance and injury risk. By identifying weaknesses, imbalances, or technical factors that contribute to injury, we guide patients toward corrective strategies, rehabilitation programs, and preventative measures that support safe and lasting participation.
Our clinic follows a strict evidence-based approach to sports injury assessment and management. We use modern diagnostic tools, hands-on therapy, structured exercise prescription, and detailed return-to-sport plans. With experience at hundreds of tournaments, tours, and representative team campaigns, our practitioners bring real-world sideline knowledge into the clinic environment.
Most importantly, we encourage a lifelong love of physical activity. We work with patients of all ages and sporting backgrounds to keep them active, help them recover fully, and give them access to the same standard of care that professional athletes receive.
