Dylan Brogan

Chiropractor
Dylan is a Chiropractor at Spinal and Sports Care, specialising in movement, rehabilitation, and performance-focused care.
Dylan joined Spinal and Sports Care in 2010, beginning his career as a Massage Therapist before completing a Master of Chiropractic in 2012. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Chiropractors Association of Australia Ellie Fernie Award for outstanding contribution to community projects, recognising his long-standing involvement with Macquarie University’s AFL club and his commitment to the wider chiropractic and sporting community.

Dylan’s clinical philosophy is guided by the principle “Mobilise first, move well, perform better.” This approach allows him to bridge the gap between acute pain management and long-term performance outcomes. He works with a broad range of patients, including high-performance athletes, active adolescents, and office-based professionals managing persistent or recurrent musculoskeletal issues.

With a strong interest in biomechanics and functional rehabilitation, Dylan has pursued extensive postgraduate education to remain at the forefront of sports and exercise care. He completed the International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma in 2019, followed by postgraduate studies in Strength and Conditioning, and a Graduate Certificate in Exercise Rehabilitation for Sports Injuries in 2023. This training supports his ability to integrate manual therapy with targeted, progressive rehabilitation.

Dylan adopts a collaborative, team-based approach to care, combining hands-on treatment, active rehabilitation, and clear patient education. He works closely with a network of orthopaedic surgeons, general practitioners, podiatrists, and strength and conditioning coaches to ensure each patient receives a comprehensive and individualised management plan.

Beyond the clinic, Dylan is actively involved in education and high-performance sport. He mentors students from Australian Catholic University and Macquarie University and currently serves as Head of Medical and Performance for Masters Indoor Cricket NSW. He also remains the Head Trainer and Chiropractor for the Macquarie University AFL Club.

A former competitive AFL player himself, Dylan maintains a strong appreciation for the physical and mental demands of sport. This firsthand experience continues to inform his practical, performance-focused approach to care, whether supporting elite athletes or helping everyday patients move and perform at their best.
