Phillip Graziano graduated from Macquarie University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic. Phillip has been working at Spinal and Sports Care since 2006 and has become a partner in the practice since 2013. Phillip continued to further his education by completing the International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma in Sports Chiropractic and is a titled Exercise & Sports Chiropractor. Phillip maintains a radiographer license and qualifications in musculoskeletal acupuncture and dry needling.
Phillip has had strong involvement with NSW Indoor Cricket since 2007 which has given him the privilege to be an international trainer for the New Zealand Indoor Cricket in 2017 World Cup and is currently the head trainer for the Australian Indoor Cricket teams since 2018. He has attended various Indoor Netball tournaments and has assisted Macquarie University at sporting events by supervising final year chiropractic students during their clinical sports workplace.
Over the years, he has been honoured to have worked under many fellow mentors in the chiropractic profession while he was both studying and working as a registered chiropractor. His experience has gained him knowledge and expertise in all types of injury management at all ages and has therefore developed into a diverse range of patients from the public to elite sporting athletes.
Phillip has a strong focus on an accurate diagnosis for each individual patient through his physical examinations, radiographic interpretation, and chiropractic management. Phillip maintains an evidence-based approach to injury assessment/management, and he aims to clearly educate each patient in understanding both their injuries and any preventative or corrective measures that may assist in improving the biomechanics of their body. Although everyone is different, Phillip has aimed to incorporate his treatment around each individual patient by utilising his expertise in chiropractic therapy in conjunction with other forms of treatment modalities which he has developed over the years.
Throughout his chiropractic career, Phillip has been able to work closely amongst some of Sydney’s best Orthopaedic and Neurosurgeons, Doctors, Radiographers, Endocrinologist, Massage Therapist and Naturopaths.
Phillip has a particular interest in sports injuries and has had the privilege of working and treating a range of International/National sports organisations and athletes. He has worked with elite athletes in pre and post competition fitness, sport injuries/management, nutrition, and rehabilitation. Over the years, Phillip has had the opportunity of treating Olympic Cyclists, Australian/National athletes in following sports: Indoor Cricket, Indoor Netball, Soccer, Squash, Touch football, Rugby League/Union, Tennis, Karate/Kickboxing, Water Skiing, Ice Skating/Speed Skating, Gymnastics, Hockey and worked with the NBL Sydney Razorbacks (2004/2005). Phillip has also been involved with NSW Horse Racing and has treated various international trainers and jockeys.
Outside of chiropractic, Phillip has been playing soccer since he was 6 years old and has won multiple grand finals in both outdoor and indoor soccer. Phillip promotes an active physical lifestyle and enjoys participating in all types of sports.
